Unfortunately, Braunschweig does not have its own public airport. However there are plenty of airports within few hours.
Hannover (HAJ)
- By train to Braunschweig: 1.5 hours (13€) or 1 hour (19€)
- Take the S-Bahn to Hannover central station (15 minutes) and then either the RE or the IC to Braunschweig
Bremen (BRE)

- By train to Braunschweig: 2.5 hours (30€) or 2 hours (35€)
- Take the tram (line 6) from the airport to Bremen central station (15 minutes) and then either the RE via Hannover or the IC directly to Braunschweig
Hamburg (HAM)

Hamburg-Lübeck (LBC)

- Take the bus to Hamburg central station (1 hour, 10€) and then the train (see above) to Braunschweig
Berlin-Tegel (TXL)

- Take the BUS (line X9) to Berlin Zoo station (20 minutes) and then the RE via Magdeburg to Braunschweig

- By train to Braunschweig: 4.5 hours (35€)
- Take the RE to Berlin East station (15 minutes) and then the RE via Magdeburg to Braunschweig
